PAST AND PRESENT TOUR

DAY 1      DA NANG (HOI AN) – MỸ SƠN HOLLY LAND – HOI AN CITY TOUR (B/L/)

 In the morning an one-hour driving to the hilly place to visit Mỹ Sơn UNESCO site to discover the miracle of thousands-year-old Hindu temples built by the native people in the secret lush valley and served as the most sacred religious land from 4th to 13th century under the ancient kingdom of Champa related to the Maritime Silk Route in the past. Walking around the valley of Mỹ Sơn, you seem to be getting lost into the mythological land with ancient temples, epitaphs, mysterious religious rites, statues of deities and sacrifices.  Enjoying fresh air, green nature, ancient fine art, and the special architecture of Champa temples whose construction technique remains controversial. Mỹ Sơn temples are unique and without equal in Southeast Asia. That is the reason it was honoured as the World Heritage site by UNESCO.

Lunch at local family to learn more about local life around Mỹ Sơn site and taste local dishes bringing the cuisine integration between Champa and Việt culture.

After lunch, another one-hour driving from Mỹ Sơn holly land to Hoi An ancient town, another famous UNESCO site in the same province to discover this charming town by a walking tour around small street in old quarter. Visiting Tan Ky old house, a typical represent for wealthy merchant’s house in the past, Chinese Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, a gathering place for home-away Chinese traders, Japanese covered bridge, the symbol for the town, lively market and Hoi An traditional handicraft demonstration where you could see how Hoianian raise silkworms to produce silk for embroidering gorgeous paintings and fold-up lanterns. Transfer back to your hotel end of the day.

 

DAY 2        DA NANG – BA NA HILL – DA NANG CITY TOUR (B/L/)

In the morning, take a 1 hour drive to BA NA Hill. Arriving there taking the longest one-wire cable car system up to the high of 1487 meters above sea level. Looking through cable car down the ground you will see a vast green primary forest home to many rare plants and animals which is adorned by springs and waterfalls. Reaching up the top you will have the change to walking around to enjoy the beauty of colourful flower gardens, French architectural buildings, visiting spiritual temples with big Buddha statues, 100 year old wine cellar where wine was stilled for rich French colonists’ entertainment. By the way taking a rest at pubs for a glass of wine, a cup of beer or checking-in buffet restaurants is great experiences. Especially walking on and photographing the Golden Bridge, one of the most impressive pedestrian bridge, a special phenomenon making Ba Na Hill famous all over the world. Finally if you are thrill seeker, spending your time on the Roller Coaster, Swing Ride, Gyro Drop and 4D, 5D films at Fantasy Park is also an unmissed occasion before slipping off the Hill in the afternoon. Transfer back to Da Nang city.

In the afternoon, by visiting Cave of the Hell at  Marble Mountains also called Ngu Hanh Son (means the mountains of five elements of the universe), one of the most holiest mountains in Viet Nam At the foot of these mountains you could visit the biggest stone carving village in the world, where honours the Vietnamese skilful hands and fine art and a small gift bought here is a souvenir for your visit to area.Continue to visit  Linh Ung pagoda, with biggest Lady Buddha statue in Viet Nam, photo stop at some famous places in the city such as fishing village with hundreds of coracle boats on the beach at the foot of Monkey mountain, breathing fresh air at Da Nang beach, once used as R&R beach for US soldiers during Viet Nam war. Stop for a cup of coffee before visiting Dragon Bridge, Love Bridge, Dragon carp statue, Da Nang city emblem, Rooster Cathedral. Transfer back the hotel.

 

DAY 3          DA NANG – HUE IMPERIAL CITY – DA NANG(B/L/)

In the morning, driving 2 and a haft hours from Da Nang to Hue, the old capital of Viet Nam under feudalism time, you will be on one of the most incredible roads with green mountains, pass and vast brackish water lagoon on the way to Hue, stopping on Hai Van Pass (the pass of ocean a cloud), one of the most fantastic top in the country for picture and enjoying the spectacular view of sky. Continue to drive to Hue city. Arriving there, visiting Hue Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, and Khai Dinh Tomb. End of the day driving back to the Da Nang city.
